We offer comprehensive assessment and treatment for delayed milestone attainment, neuro-developmental disabilities, HIE (hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy) / birth trauma, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders & syndromes. 

Goal-setting is important and parents and other caregivers are encouraged to participate. 

The focus is really on building quality - there is no shortcut; please trust the process. 

Customized management and rehabilitation following trauma or surgery, aiming to return to maximal function (& return to sport) after injury / surgery, regardless of age. 

This includes poly-trauma, burns injuries or complex cases. 

Medical aids generally cover physio sessions under PMB for trauma and after certain procedures- please consult your doctor for a referral if needed. 

We are trained in paediatric pelvic floor. 

Techniques to help babies and kiddos alleviate discomfort from gas and constipation; re-education of biomechanics for bladder and bowel function, providing parent education and strategies to achieve success.

We work closely with speech / feeding therapists, GIT specialists and dieticians for holistic management across feeding, digestion and movement. 

Learn about how constipation can contribute to enuresis (leaking) and encopresis (soiling). Learn about elimination communication (EC) in babies and toddlers under 18m.

We focus on holistic care with quality of movement at the centre - to focus on building new brain skills through analysing movement - looking at where your child can best explore and lay foundations from which to grow. 

We use individualised therapy to assist kids - we think out the box!

It is essential in any hypoxic brain injury or complicated birth history that your baby has a general movements assessment done, and that they initiate early therapy (ASAP!) in order to have better long term outcomes. 

Following an assessment, we work to achieve improved balance and co-ordination through understanding which components are missing and working to build skills in this area. 

E.g. Developmental co-ordination Disorder (DCD / "clumsy child") 

School visits could be arranged.

We'll assess your child's strength, control and tone and optimise this through creative activities. 

This includes looking at how they use their posture, balance and co-ordination to function in daily activities as well as at school. 

Children who have hyper-mobility can benefit greatly from physiotherapy to improve their body awareness and control of their joints. 

We have a HyperVibe G10 Vibration Plate that provides pivotal whole body vibration which allows for strengthening, improving balance and providing proprioceptive input. 

We offer services to improve cardiopulmonary function following  surgical procedures; provide chest physiotherapy techniques to remove secretions, improve air entry and endurance. 

If your child has spent time in ICU or has had a thoracic or abdominal surgery, it could be very helpful to have physiotherapy, not only for mobilising - but for maximising respiratory function, cough efficacy and maintenance or improvement of air entry and prevention  or removal of secretions (phlegm). 

If your child has a neuromuscular disorder such as SMA, DMD, myopathy etc. it is important that a chest assessment and appropriate treatment is included as part of their care for long term outcomes. 

FES/EMG devices are used to stimulate muscles. This can be used to improve strength, range of motion, improve alignment, and can be combined with functional activities.

This is useful in various conditions such as spina bifida, cerebral palsy, hypotonia, peripheral  nerve or spinal cord paralysis.

Services provided in NICU / Preterm infants / Paediatrics, as well as outpatients (broad scope) - monitoring early development, use of theories of development in improving quality of and exploration in movement and daily function; management of  restrictions in the musculoskeletal system with a view on neuro-developmental motor learning, stress management and regulation. 

Management of head shape deformities, evaluation of day to day positioning, and working to change strange sleeping positions.
